I know a good due to a task in my school: "The men who terrorized the world" by Diego Lopez.
And you?

I am so sick of hearing how poor Mexico is and that is why they come here. And that many years ago this was mexico, etc etc. Fact is, its not. Why is it so hard for mexicans to come here legally and learn English. If they did they would be respected. Walking around in America with the mexican flag saying they demand to be treated equally when they are here legally, speaking in spanish, is not going to help them. Also, why is it that they are leaving mexico beacuse its poor and run down, yet thats what they turn their neighborhoods they move into in THE UNITED STATES! I would think they would want to respect it more, not turn it into mexico.

There's a class I need to take with that title, & the professor won't let me take it because of disability-related prejudice. I NEED to learn how to speak the language idiomatically, & especially in order to learn how to translate properly & become more fluent. Can you give me some website links, suggestions for books, etc.? Thanks.

What does Tono Hechame una xfa mean?
10 points for best answer !

Obviously they used to speak Latin, hence the name of their country, but what prompted the change to Spanish? My friend Oscar said he thinks it was because the people were having too hard a time doing math with Roman numerals. This kinda makes sense, because I can't even tell what year some movies and TV shows were made when they show the date with those letters. I can't even imagine trying to ADD letters or mutliply them and stuff.

Plus, Oscar is usually kinda full of crap, so I don't trust him on this.

I've always been sort of amazed at how my Mexican classmates speak English and Spanish fluently. I can't even speak my own language which is kind of a shame.. Although I understand completely. So US born Spaniards/Mexicans, did your parents teach you? I'm very curious. Thank you.

Thanks.
My point is: Look all around.... You will find many, many, many Mexican-Americans.
Even if they don't look like mexicans or like americans.
Got it?
Besides that review the History of the U.S. SouthWest, and find the Point.

I would like to see a list every country that speaks spanish.

is there a website where I can see old mexican movies (spanish)

While searching on the internet, I've noticed that there is a large Spanish speaking population in certain states (cities, towns) like the ones I've mentioned, along with the state of Florida. Some employers state that Spanish speakers are a must in order to gain employment. So, for people who live in these states, can you tell me how necessary it is to learn fluent Spanish.

My Magmum XL's are getting a little tight so I need to try something different.

Suggestions?

I take Spanish now in high school. They do not go into depth much, but you do get a basic understanding. I am going into Spanish 2. What software or books would you recommend to help me learn Spanish?

I mean, I assume Spain considering they speak Spanish.

I'm trying to brush up on my Spanish. Any website that has full episodes?

If you were study abroad to learn to speak Spanish, where would you go?
Question Details: It's a dream of mine to learn Spanish in a Spanish speaking country! I don't want to hear any info on learning to speak Spanish here, I want to go out of country for about 6 months to a year if it takes that long.

By next year, all women golfers must speak english or face suspension. The top golfers are Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Korean etc.. Is this rule fair? Why would they do this?

Can Spanish people be deep olive-skin toned, or can only Mexicans be like that? And what is a defining difference between the two? Can Spanish people share Mexican names, and can Mexican people share the same Spanish names (IE: PABLO, DIEGO).

I know its sort of a duh thing, but I wondered if anyone learned to fluently speak spanish or really any foreign language through courses in college, or if anyone couldn't, despite taking said courses.

I went to a Mexican restaurant
It is owned by Mexicans, they serve Mexican food and the waiters even speak Spanish.
The restaurant atmosphere is also very similar to Mexico
However when I pay the Bill they refuse to accept Mexican currency.
Why did they do this?
Can they be sued? If so, under what law?

are you Mexican and get mad frustrated or tired of thinking too hard to read it like if your used to reading English.

I need to speak a language besides Spanish. My choices are Latin, German, and French. Which one seems fun and exciting to speak?

OK, I'm having a little trouble with my grammar, so will you help me out?

"Will you be ok with this, if you still work there?"

Thanks!

If mexicans are so proud to be mexican, why do they speak the lingo of the conquistadores? those who raped and pillaged and enslaved the real mexicans? why do european looking people dominate their culture as if they're real mexicans? the fact is they are not and remants of the spaniards. Shouldn't real mexicans take back their country from the spaniards and learn to speak their true lingo? oh yeah, do any of you so called proud 'mexicans' know what ONE of those lingos is??? i'm guessing few if any do cause you're brainwashed. let's hear it.

Diminutive forms of 'flor' and 'sol'. Do they seem plausible or completely wrong to you? I'm working on a linguistics paper and already know that florecita and solecito are the preferable forms.

Do people honestly not realize how many countries besides Mexico speak spanish? I'm from Argentina and almost everytime someone finds out I speak spanish they ask me what part of Mexco I'm from. Not that I have anything against Mexicans it just bothers me.

I found it!!! The last name is Spyratos and it is Greek.

Thank You

I want to get movies like Los Amantes del CĂrculo Polar and Amores Perros in their original language with Spanish subtitles to practice my comprehension of the language but the versions I've found offer only subtitles in English.
