		<description>Yes, in many spaking Spanish countries some words have different meanings and different accents; but overall yes we can tell.  The tone of voice, the pronunciation of the words, and in the U.S the spanglish. Most Spanish classes in the U.S don&#039;t teach proper Spanish, but basic Spanish. 

&quot;i am a white cuban and cannot speak it fluently, mostly being i was raised an american, but not like those ghetto mexicans&quot; Brian I am Mexican and can properly speak Spanish and Eglish. Why do we always have to use derogatory words to describe one another, I mean we are both Latinos. I love Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Argentinians, Colombians, etc...regardless of how proper our accent is.</description>

		<description>I think it has to do with an accent or at least a familiarity of the dialect being used. The Spanish taught in the classroom greatly differs from the Spanish taught in homes. This is easily detected.</description>
