1. staying with a host (native) family
2. going to learn spanish at a school
3. not being able to assosiate with english speack people as much

Learning a second language as an adult is much more difficult than as a child. However, you sound as if you are going to me immersed in Spanish. So, it will be sink or swim buddy. Keep a dictionary and or have a Spanish translator available on your computer and continue to practice as much as possible. It will be challenging, but, before you realize it, you’ll start to understand what is being said and soon you’ll be able to join in on the conversation. Be patient, pacensia y buena suerte!
