Spanish is my first language and I really want to learn Portuguese before I go to brazil in two years. Do you think it's possible to learn the basics before then.

okay i took Spanish for 4 years back when i was in high school, that was awhile ago, but i can still understand the language if spoken slowly (no one speaks slowly though lol) and sometimes if its written i can read and comprehend whats written down but i can't speak Spanish at all and i don't understand enough to hold a conversation with a Spanish speaker
