Spanish Latin American

In Texas a large percentage of Americans who are of Mexican ancestry are non Spanish speaking,and most are highly assimilated in the sence that English is their first language,and they do not hold on to any Mexican cultural ancestral values.I see this more often in the 4th and 5th generation USA born Mexican American peoples.

ive heard americans speak in spanish and they do it terribly while as latinos speak in english and you can barely notice that english is not their first language

I mean, how can you tell when there’s someone whose language is not english? Even if he/she speaks it really really good. Which are the normal mistakes people who speaks spanish do when it comes to speak english?
