i like those kinda hip hop sounding songs, i love mexican and spanish ones the most but any latin or anything like that songs with a hip hop beat.. and please dont say pitbull i already heard of him.

In 711 , when the Berber and Arab moors invaded , did the Spaniards already speak Spanish or did they speak any other language like Latin ?

So do all of Central & South America. Why is our nationality being ignored for this generic nonsense?. It's the Chinese, the Americans, the French, the Italians, the Spaniards, the English, the Germans, etc. We're Mexicans, Panamanians, Colombians, Cubans -- we are Hispanic because we speak Spanish. We are not Italians, we are not Latins, we don't speak Latin.

Obviously they used to speak Latin, hence the name of their country, but what prompted the change to Spanish? My friend Oscar said he thinks it was because the people were having too hard a time doing math with Roman numerals. This kinda makes sense, because I can't even tell what year some movies and TV shows were made when they show the date with those letters. I can't even imagine trying to ADD letters or mutliply them and stuff.

Plus, Oscar is usually kinda full of crap, so I don't trust him on this.

I need to speak a language besides Spanish. My choices are Latin, German, and French. Which one seems fun and exciting to speak?

I have to do a summer project for my Spanish 3 class and one part of it is to find a restaurant that serves Latin/Spanish food. It can NOT be a chain restaurant like Taco Bell, Chipotle, etc. Any restaurant in DC, MD,or VA would be great. Thanks for all help!

I saw a show where full-blooded Mayans who didn't speak Spanish were coming across the border and being called "Latinos"!
Most Mexicans could never claim to be Italian descendants or accepted by Latin Europeans as "one of them."

I want to know this because at my job a lot of mexicans come there and it's hard for me to understand them when they are speaking to me. They speak English very poorly. I really would like to learn.
There is a diffrence between the two. Spanish is mostly spain. Latin SPanish is for mexico.
