What are good ways to learn how to speak spanish?

I was so overwhelming in college that I barely got anything out of it and barely passed. It has been bothering me since, and I really wanted to be good at it, but I figured there has got to be different ways to learn. It'll probably be better for me to learn now because this time it won't be pushed and forced to learn at a certain time. And..I can't afford to go to Spain lol

How can I learn to speak Spanish fluently?

okay i took Spanish for 4 years back when i was in high school, that was awhile ago, but i can still understand the language if spoken slowly (no one speaks slowly though lol) and sometimes if its written i can read and comprehend whats written down but i can't speak Spanish at all and i don't understand enough to hold a conversation with a Spanish speaker

i'm in a relationship with someone whose first language is Spanish and i think it would be cool if i learned to speak his native language

I live near Miami, and the majority of the population either speaks spanish, is rude, or speaks rude spanish lol. I just want to be able to say this to them to get my point accross! (they came here from 'wherever' because it's better, but refuse to learn the language?!?!?!)

Yes, I realize I'm in miami and that I'm the minority here, but you fail to get it through your obviously brick-thick skull that Miami is a part of the UNITED STATES, in which ENGLISH is the national language. How come there are no Spanish (yes, Spanish, not Mexican) restaurants in the US?

It is considered also with the Italian to be the best food in the world!
Is it just because there where no pure Spanish immigrants to the US?

Reliable Latin American/Spanish Translator?

I need a reliable English to Spanish (preferably Latin American) online translator. This is not for school... I have several co-workers from South America whom I would like to be able to communicate with better. LOL dispatch is a bit rough when there are language barriers. Thanks for your help in advance!
