I am doing a project that requires me to tell whether you would make more money if you could speak Spanish or not. THANKS BUNCHES.

Hey, I am sixteen....I have always kind of wanted to speak spanish, but so far I have been to lazy or just haven't gotten to it......well now I have a job that everyone speaks Spanish but me.....I feel out of place and I know that they are talking about me.....most of them speak English too, but they speak Spanish more......anyway.....I really wanted to learn Spanish so I could talk to them......and I just think it would be really cool to know.....the thing is I kind of want to learn really fast, and I don't have a lot of money to spend on this either. So if anyone has any ideas, then I would be very happy to hear them!! I need some help...I know this kind of thing isn't easy.

I speak english fluently, I have a high school education from the US and i have enough money for college tuition and housing. I am 19 years old as well. What is the probabilty I will be able to study in canada then become a permanent resident? And how do I start the process?

I am looking at learning Spanish for when i go to the USA in March 2008.
Now i am going to California and i am wanting to learn Spanish.
Now i have a few questions.

1 - Is Latin American Spanish the same as Latin Spanish and Mexican Spanish ?

2 - What is the best audio cd for me to learn american spanish (mexicans etc) i have over a year to learn so something what is going to get me extremly knowledgable.

3 - I heard the Rosetta Stone software for latin american spanish is good but i also heard that after it you wont be able to have a conversation with anyone.

well maybe not mexican american women, but im talking about the ones who don't speak english very well? They seem to be rude to other women out in public and never say exuse me...they laugh and make jokes all the time.
they always pick on the older white lady at my job and tell her what to do all the time why is it that the mexican american women can be nice but the ones who are illegal that come over here are rude like the mexican men? I don't think they were taught how to be nice to others!

I've always heard of Rosetta Stone for learning spanish, but what other recommendations do you have? Is Rosetta Stone really worth the money, or is there a cheaper option? What about the learning spanish while you drive CDs - can you actually learn that way?

What I was meaning was illegal mexicans that come to America and work 3 jobs and then send all the money they make back to mexican, then expect us to know Spanish. I think you should learn English if you are going to live in america. Sorry if some people don't think English is the offical language of America, but I do. And it is the same for us if we go to another county, we should learn to speak what the majority of the country speaks!!!

How can i learn how to speak spanish with in 5 months and that doesn't cost money, and if it does then under .00 and how do you say .00 in spanish.

I only speak a little spanish. Not enough to carry on a coversation either. I need help. Can anyone give me any pointers. Like any online sites that would help me learn spanish quickly. Without paying any money. Or maybe any books.

I really want to be able to speak Spanish fluently but I don't really have the time or money to take Spanish classes. I've had a lot of Brazilian friends so I can understand some Portuguese which I know is very similar to Spanish. How can I learn to speak Spanish fluently!?

Also, how do I ask "So who is your lab partner?" in Spanish.

Recently, our local school system put a bill on the ballot to increase taxes for the sake of rehiring four teachers that were laid off. Although I voted against the raise, because they didn't itemize, the bill was voted in. Now we have discovered that the money is being used to rehire four SPANISH teachers, and hire another four Spanish speaking teachers as well. Their goal is to have all the children in the school system speaking Spanish, as well as English, by the year 2008.

Spanish food, not Mexican crap, is if not the best, the second best kind of food in the world.

I'm 13 years old and I've always wanted to speak a different lanuage. So why not Spanish, its a common one. I'm not made of money so I cant go get any personal lessons. So what are some ways that I could learn Spanish?

All the free options just don't work for me. Everyone I speak to say that you can't affectively learn Spanish online. I don't have time nor flexibility for one to one lessons. I want to spend a bit of money on a proven solution because I am moving to Spain for work in 3 months and need to be able to communicate at least on a basic level. What shall I buy?
