Shouldn't their national language be German?
And why do they have Spanish last names? They also look like they just moved from Spain, not Germany.

And yet Spanish only speaking people are hired. Now that's Discrimination if you ask me. My daughter has been turned down for several jobs in Florida, simply because she doesn't speak spanish. It's simply just wrong! We live in America! Land of the English speaking individuals! We shouldn't have to speak a different language when our national language is ENGLISH! For those who come into this country, they should be required to speak English, and that's all there is to it.

Why should we have to learn to speak spanish to survive in the United States of America when our national language is ENGLISH?

I've noticed that more and more spanish or mexican languaged commercials are shown on primetime...Are we Americans really expected to speak and understand spanish/mexican now? Is this our new national language?

I live near Miami, and the majority of the population either speaks spanish, is rude, or speaks rude spanish lol. I just want to be able to say this to them to get my point accross! (they came here from 'wherever' because it's better, but refuse to learn the language?!?!?!)
Go read this, you'll see why it p*isses me off.

And "bella" and "come break me down", you're both idiots. There are Immigration laws for a Reason.
Mr.Inquisitor.

You're one of the people I'm upset with. Yes, I realize I'm in miami and that I'm the minority here, but you fail to get it through your obviously brick-thick skull that Miami is a part of the UNITED STATES, in which ENGLISH is the national language. Would you move to Germany and expect it's residents to cater to your language deficiency? I think not.

I'd really love for you to read my blog (link above). And feel free to spout some more horse-s*hit at it. I won't even waste my time deleting it. I'd like eveyrone who reads it to see the fault in your reasoning.

I am a High School art teacher and I have a group of Spanish speaking students who can also speak English. They are constantly giggling and laughing when they speak Spanish & I don't feel comfortable in my own classroom. I think it is great to be bilingual but I am not and I also don't feel I should have to learn Spanish. Not to make this sound rude but our national language is English and that is what we should speak first.
