i am taking this mexican girl that worked for my family for 1 and a half years. she quit recently but i asked her to go to the mall. she said yes but i speak very little spanish. what are some things i should do or say?

Well, I’m a mexican girl myself… and if a guy take me to the mall, I want him to buy something for me. Like ice cream or candy.
Ok, if you pass by a candy store or something ask her ‘Quieres uno?’ (do you want one?) or ‘Quieres algo?’ (do you want something?’
And it’s always good to hear we are looking fine. So a ‘Que bonita te ves hoy’ (how pretty you look today) would be nice.

Just have fun with her. I’m sure she’s well aware of the fact that you speak poor Spanish, so if that were a big deal to her she probably wouldn’t have agreed to go with you. Go eat, or browse around the mall.
go to the bible book store-and get her something in Spainish and get a English copy of the same thing-and then she can help you and you here to go over the words -the best start in Spanish a miracle I have found is learning the 23rd Psalm and in Spanish instead of saying he leads me to green/verde pastures it says he leads me to delicioso/delicious pastures.
also try to get some of this get a Spanish bible it will help=Romans 1 Some are unthankful to God and worship the created instead of the creator and are turned over to a reprobate mind to do what is unseamly.
