What are some good Spanish or Latin American children’s stories/books for toddlers?
My son is 18 months old and we are raising him speaking both Spanish and English. We have some good stories in Spanish for infants (e.g., Buenas Noches Gorilla, Buenas Noches Luna) but would like to start reading him stories more appropriate for toddlers. We can find a few English language stories that are translated into Spanish, but would also like some authentic Spanish language stories.

I’m in high school, and I’m taking Spanish. My teacher said a classic fairy tale in Spain is Don Quijote. I hope that helps. =)

The best thing to do is to ask someone who is spanish speaking when they come visit you in the US to bring you some or when you/someone you know travels to latin america to bring some. Most of the ones they sell at bookstores are translated.
