what are the chances of going to Colombia if i’m from England and speak Spanish and teaching English?
I'm half colombian and was born and grew up in England, i speak both Spanish and English fluently and i have done my Spanish Aevel where i got an A. I want to go to Colombia and teach English but without a degree. I was wondering if there is anyone who knows what my chances of this are?

Is just a mather of wanting to do it. You can teach english without a degree for private english schools and you would be hired right away cause you’re a "native" speaker. This is possible in the cities. Travelling won’t be a problem. Colombia receives almost anyone who would like to come! Is better to make a research on every city and see what captures your attention or if you have relatives that would make your stay much easy. I hope you jump into it, and I hope it goes OK for you (I’m sure you will do fine).
Love, from a "locombiana"
I’m not so sure Colombia is a really safe place for people from England to work right now. You can teach English in many places without a degree, but the quality of schools you can work in will not be as high. Check websites like daveseslcafe.com for available jobs. And don’t give your passport to anyone.
i said do it …..i’m a 100 % colombian and the english level that they teach here sucks …… i learn english in another country ……..do it …VIVA COLOMBIA ….
