So how many Americans talk about taking back what they fought for and won? None, why? Because it is a none issue. That is like asking how many Italians talk about taking France and Spain back, after all it was roman territory. It is a silly question. The territory you speak of (southern California, New Mexico, Arizona) are part of the US and have been for a long enough time to not argue over the rightful possessors. As you yourself say, the Mexicans only had it for a brief period in comparison to all the others. In the Mexican-American War, America actually conquered all of Mexico.
