i have no idea sorry but even though former Spanish colonies in Latin America are now independent nations those former Spanish colonies still retained the Spanish language but former French colonies in Latin American like French Guiana still ratained the French language and the former Portuguese colony Brazil still retained the Portuguese language
1810 was the year that both Argentina and Mexico declared independence from Spain. Cuba did not get its independence until 1898 when the US ousted Spain from that country.
hello
Argentina – Buenos Aires founded in 1536, forcefully abandoned in 1541, re-founded in 1580, de facto independent in 1810, officially declared in 1816.
Bolivia – La Paz founded in 1548. Independent in 1825.
Chile – In 1541, the Spanish conquered the Incas in Perú, opening the way to the South, however, Spain could only advance as far as the Itata River, where they met the fierce Araucanians. Chile won its independence from Spain in 1818
Colombia – In 1510, Spaniards founded Darien, the first permanent European settlement on the mainland of the Americas. In 1538, they established the New Kingdom of Granada. Independence declared in 1810. Later formed part of Gran Colombia.
Ecuador – Conquistador Francisco Pizarro conquered the land in 1532. Suceded from Spain in 1821 to form Gran Colombia.
Paraguay – Asunción was founded in 1537. Independent from 1811.
Peru – Conquered from the Incas in 1531 by Francisco Pizarro. Peru won its independence from Spain in 1821.
Uruguay – Taken by Spain from Portugal in 1778. Part of Brazil from 1821-1825. Independence in 1825.
Venezuela – Caracas was founded in 1567. Declared independence in 1811. Later formed part of Gran Colombia.
the Domincan Republic was part of Spain, but then ceded to France in 1795. When Haiti revolted from France (1803) it too became part of this nation. It gained independence from Haiti on February 27, 1844
Jamaica too was once Spanish but was seized by Britain in 1655 and eventually gained independence from Britain on 6 August 1962

Central America had a short lived nation (1823 – 1838) called the Federal Republic of Central America (Spanish -Provincias Unidas del Centro de América -PUCA) which consisted of what is now Guatemala El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.
Nicaragua was the first to leave November 5, 1838
Thus you have nations such as Honduras that have gained their independence several times;

- from Mexico 1823
- from the PUCA May 31, 1838
Guatemala
from Spain on 15 September 1821

Although Brazil is part of "Latin America" it didn’t gain independence from Spain so I do not include a ‘independence date’ here.
From about 1815, to 1830, was the "era of independence" across Latin America. However don’t think for a second, it was of a like nature as the U.S. revolutionary war; one of the reasons Spanish rule was thrown off, was because the criollo (creole) landlords wanted all the wealth for themselves, they did not want to share with Spain. Latin American caste system 101, from top to bottom;
1) Peninsular Spaniards, that is, any Spaniards born in Spain.
black people; yes, black people, there were black slaves in the Spanish colonies as well, not as many as in Brazil of course.
2) Criollo, or "creole" Spaniards, any Spaniards born in Latin America, some of whom had some native american ancestry. Even if a latin american born spaniards was 100% though, simply being AROUND natives, made him or her less european to Spanish eyes of the time.
3) Anyone of Italian ancestry (I’m serious). The truth is, Italians have always been highly regarded in Spain for reasons I do not understand. Even though during imperalist times Spaniards made it a point to let everyone know who was boss, in the end, there was always respect for Italy in fact, when southern Italy was "conquered" by Spain, it was quite a bloodless affair. Not only that, but Spain practically GAVE what is now Argentina to Italians. Many Argentinans have Spanish surnames but trust me, the great majority of them are of Italian origin.
4) Any other person from Europe, or the North American colonies.
5) A person of mostly spanish ancestry, likely the illegitimate son of a landlord, or grandson, whose mestizo father managed to score himself a spanish wife, usually a peon overseer.
6) The peon; a person of mixed native american and spanish ancestry, although, mostly native american.
7) The "indio," or as they called them "indians," the native americans, who were near the defacto bottom feeders next to…
9) Jews*
Jews were considered an even lower form of life than black people; trust me on this, prejudice against them in Spain was so vicious, many sephardi Jews are still scathed to this day. Of course its complicated; the majority of Arab descended moorish inhabitants of southern Spain were either killed off, or expelled. The people who converted, were Jews. Meaning, the great majority of "dark" Spaniards, their semitic ancestry is Jewish, not Arab. Well, Jewish, carthaginian, and Greek, actually. Jewish converts to catholicism were called "marranos" (pigs) but the label usually fell off in a generation or two. Again its complicated; there is prejudice, but many Spaniards carry Jewish blood, at the same time though, any follower of the Jewish religion was considered a "low form of life" for a long time, even though they were hardly different genetically and appearance wise from most southern Spaniards.
The truth is, regarding innocent Jews, the Spanish crown had no right to throw them out, for a very good reason; sephardi tradition holds, that the Jewish community in Spain had lived there since the time of King Solomon. Why, that gives them a full thousand years more of a birthright to Spain, than the Spanish crown, whose visigoth ancestors came from the Caucasus mountains near what is now Georgia. In other words, Sephardic Jews are more Spanish than many spaniards.
Any spaniard wants to debate or argue this, I’ll oblige him (pops knuckles….)
later.
