Spanish in Latin America and Spanish in Spain – learn it all
If i had a dollar for every time i saw Mexicans describing themselves as Spanish, i'd get to bang Obama's wife cause i'd then be rich. Just because you speak Spanish, doesn't mean you're Spanish. That's like saying Americans are English, cause most speak English.

Some Americans came from England, therefore they have a reason for calling themselves English.
Some Mexicans came from Spain…
Mexico is in the same boat as the U.S. Before a couple hundred years ago there wasn’t a "USA" or "Mexico". So there are "Indians" (Aztec for example) and there are immigrants (Spanish). Over the years they have mixed and people have come into Mexico from Guatemala and other countries too.
OMG I hate it when people from Latin America refer to themselves as Spanish too!
I don’t think they are referring themselves as european, its more about the language. Besides, they all do have spanish blood because of the colonizers that fu*ked the women to later kill them and their men.
i don’t mind when a white mexican says they are spanish, but people who look like this;

actually they are mestizo which qualify them as part spanish, part indigenous.
