Why do most people think that if you speak Spanish your Mexican?
Ok well I'm Puertorican and I was on Omegle the other day and every time I said "hey do you speak Spanish" people freaked and started calling me Mexican and that I should get out of the states because I'm stealing jobs. This is not the first time it has happened when I'm walking in the street I just ask my mom for something in Spanish and people start screaming at us calling us illegal and other stuff I cant say in here.
"Only an American would fault you for speaking another language" ...i never said that, no im not making this up and im from Chicago

Because the closest country to the USA is Mexico.
It is their first assumption because of the immigration debate. But in my opinion, a very ignorant one.
Because the majority of the people who speak spanish in the US and the entire world are mexican my friend.
I doubt they told you to leave LMAO Freaking niqqer worshipping coon latino
Most mature people don’t. I think you are just assuming this.
"I’m walking in the street I just ask my mom for something in Spanish and people start screaming at us calling us illegal and other stuff I cant say in here."
-What area of the states do you live in? Must be a fairly low-class area if you have people randomly screaming at strangers walking by. I have never seen something like this and there are many spanish, mexican, brazilian people around where I live. Honestly unless you were walking through a klan meeting, I’d have to assume you’re making this up.
