As an orthodontist would being able to speak Spanish raise your salary any?

I am doing a project that requires me to tell whether you would make more money if you could speak Spanish or not. THANKS BUNCHES.

  1. Assuming we are talking about working in the US or in Canada: As an orthodontist probably not. Orthodontists are quite well paid anyway, and you get referred to them by your regular dentist, so "bedside manner" doesn’t matter as much as for regular dentists – and even then you probably wouldn’t make more money because of speaking Spanish, because usually dentists are in private practice. If you are in a predominately Spanish speaking area, you might get more clients if you speak Spanish, so that might help when you are starting out.
