  2. Sentences you emailed me

    My bathroom is very small.
    – Mi baño es muy pequeño.

We brush our teeth in the sink.
    – Nos lavamos los dientes en el lavabo (or lavamanos your choice)

    Our toilet is white.
    – Nuestro escusado es blanco

    We bathe in the bathtub.
    – Nos bañamos en la tina (or tina de baño or bañera, again your choice)

    We look in the mirror.
    – Nos miramos en el espejo.

Me and my sisters are always fighting over the bathroom.
    – Mis hermanas y yo siempre nos peleamos por ver quien gana el baño. (this cannot be literally translated that’s why u see words that u didn’t write)

    My bedroom has purple walls.
    – Mi habitación tiene paredes moradas.

    I have a big bed.
    – Tengo una cama grande

I have a dresser to keep my clothes.
    – Tengo un vestidor para guardar mi ropa (vestidor is usually a walk-in closet, which is what i understand by dresser… we also use the word "closet" like in English or "guardarropa" for regular closets, your choice)

I have a desk to do my home work.
    – Tengo un escritorio para hacer mi tarea

    I have a big window.
    – Tengo una ventana grande

    I have a yellow blanket.
    – Tengo una sábana amarilla.

    We have six dinning chairs.
    – Tenemos seis sillas en el comedor (comedor means dinning room, there is no literal translation for dinning chair)

We have a big china cabinet.
    – Tenemos una alacena grande para la vajilla

    We have a big rug.
    – Tenemos un tapete grande

    We have yellow walls.
Las paredes son amarillas ("tenemos paredes amarillas" would be the literal translation but sounds like the sentence has no point)

We have a big table to eat at.
Tenemos una mesa grande donde comer. (here you could also use "para" instead of "donde" and it would be perfectly understandable)

    Good luck!
