Is it possible for me to have Mexican or Spanish relatives, even if I'm not Spanish descent?

Hello. None of my family is Spanish or Mexican descent, but I learned that I could have relatives worldwide. So I’m wondering if it’s possible for me to have relatives in Spain or Mexico. Besides, I was born in California.


  1. Sure! You could have a relative who married a Latino and went to live in Spain or Mexico, or someone who just moved to one of those countries for business reasons, for example.

  2. Yes, one of your aunts or uncles or one of your cousins could have married someone of Mexican or Spanish descent and their off springs would be related to you.
